New Website of the Month! - Twisty Noodle

When it's cold outside, are you looking for something to do inside? At Twisty Noodle, there are thousands of coloring pages, fun sheets to practice handwriting and mini-books to make!

You and your family can choose from categories such as animals, colors, food, holiday, music, nature or sports. Then pick a page, print it out and start the coloring fun.

In November, you can color a 'Gobble Gobble' page or make an 'I See a Turkey! Mini Book.'

You can help fulfill the holiday dreams of our nation's neediest children by donating new, unwrapped toys or books to the Toys for Tots campaign, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps. A donation box will be located in the library lobby until the first week of December.

Poster Contest for Cyber Security Month

Students in grades K-12 are invited to participate and create an original poster that illustrates the safe use of the internet and mobile devices. Winning entries will be included in a 2015 Cyber Awareness Calendar. All entries must be submitted by November 29th.

Fun @ the Heritage Center in Mount Sinai!

Registration for our programs at the Heritage Center in Mount Sinai begins on Tuesday, July 30th:

  • Planting Seeds Storytime
    • Children, 3 + 1/2 years and older. Children attend without parent
  • Nature Scavenger Hunt and Storytime
    • Children of all ages with caregiver

New Website of the Month! - The Adventures of Herman

As children are continuing to sign up for our "Dig Into Reading" summer reading clubs, we thought the month of July would be the perfect time for you to learn all about worms!
